Paulien specializes in all aspects of employment law and acts on behalf of employers as well as employees. She focuses on dismissal proceedings, reorganizations, special contractual clauses and occupational disability. Paulien studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where she obtained her master degree in employment law in 2010. Her graduation thesis was about the problems of illegal employment seen from the perspective of employment law. She was awarded the ‘Stichting Jo Maes/Capra prize’ for her thesis.
