Willemijn works in the practice area of life sciences & healthcare. She mainly focusses on the regulation of products and healthcare under European and Dutch law, including matters concerning medicinal products, medical devices and the disclosure of government information. Her work also includes advising and litigating in matters relating the quality of health care, healthcare funding and reimbursement and privacy.
Willemijn is a member of the Dutch Health Law Association (VGR) and the Dutch Pharma and Law Association (VFenR). She is a co-author of the Chronicle on health law legislation which periodically appears in the Dutch Journal of Health Law (Tijdschrift voor Gezondheidsrecht).
Before joining Leijnse Artz in October 2019, Willemijn worked at AKD. Willemijn studied at the University of Amsterdam, where she obtained her Masters in Private Law and Health Law. During her bachelor's degree programme, she studied European Law and Competition Law at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris.
